STAFF PICK OF THE WEEK!

Kite 194642 - 1 year old female, 45 lbs

Kite is a level 3 pup and would do best with an experienced foster!

Her previous owners describe Kite as a high-energy dog. In the care center she has been active and enthusiastic. She needs guidance to learn how to appropriately channel that energy. She will need daily mental and physical stimulation and exercise, and force-free, positive reinforcement-based training may help her to learn impulse control and to train desirable behaviors that can be rewarded.

Here's a recent Enrichment note from 04/07: Kite is at the front of her crate vocalizing, toe-tapping. The handler leashes her, and they proceed outside. While exiting the building, Kite bunny hops towards the exit. Kite displays a loose body while pulling on leash. The handler tosses her treats in which she catches. Kite will allow touch, leaning in as she is pet. Kite is returned to the facility where she enters the building and her crate with no issue.
